This backing is there to protect the wood during laser cutting and shipping. You can customize your craft by asking us to add a hole of a specific size and location for free. Our crafts are available in diameters from 3 inches up to 36 inches, so choose the size that fits your project. They're made from 1/8 (3mm), 1/4 (6mm), or 1/2 (12mm) cabinet - grade Baltic birch plywood. If you want a different thickness, just let us know.
